A somewhat over cast sunset at Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort in Kota Kinabalu. Previously known as Jesselton, Kota Kinabalu is becoming a major destination for tourist and as a stop off for Mount Kinabalu, the second highest mountain in South East Asia.

Annually on the 1st of July, Hong Kong Streets giveway to the March for Democracy and Civil Rights. Being realtively new to having some say in their Governemt via limited suffrage, the peoples look forward to this day and some even do it in style and mostly peacefully. In hong kong the people know they do not have universal suffrage and use people power to make their voice heard, unlike in the mature western democracies where the populace have been moulded into thinking their vote really counts.
Hong Kong Advertisment Skyline
Hong Kong Island has a world famous skyline of tower blocks situated on a narrow strip of land in-front of the dominating mountains. On street level neon signage covers every avilable space. Here we see how its elevated itself to new heights as seen from the kowloon side of the harbour.
